Lifesaving South Africa

Lifesaving South Africa is the national leader and advocate for best practices in aquatic rescues. We provide expertise in medical, rescue techniques and educational practises in lifesaving and lifeguarding and strategies to reduce drowning in South Africa with particular emphasis on the most vulnerable age demographic: children. As a registered sport federation with the Department of Sport, Art and Culture (DSAC) , Lifesaving South Africa oversees all aspects of the sport of lifesaving.
