SADC Government Online Advertising Terms & Conditions
1. Authority & Acceptance
By signing the Quotation Acceptance Form, the signatory warrants to this Service Level Agreement (SLA) Contract that they are duly authorised to approve quotations and/or enter into such agreements on behalf of the company they represent.
All signed quotations are subject to a vetting process. Once approved, the signed quotation constitutes a binding and irrevocable order.
Cancellations will not be accepted unless agreed to in writing by both parties.
2. Artwork & Deadlines
All artwork must be submitted by the deadline specified by SADC Government Online.
If proof sheets are not approved within seven (7) calendar days of being sent, SADC Government Online reserves the right to proceed with publication based on the latest version on file, without further amendment.
SADC Government Online accepts no liability for errors, omissions, or formatting issues contained in client-supplied artwork.
All materials submitted will be treated as final unless explicitly marked as “draft” at the time of submission.
3. Payment Terms
All quoted rates exclude Value-Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate (currently 15%), unless specifically mentioned otherwise.
Accepted payment methods include EFT, cash, partial payment arrangements, credit card, or via an approved account facility.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is due within seven (7) calendar days from the date of invoice.
Late payments may incur interest at the applicable legal rate and may result in suspension or removal of the advertisement from current and/or future editions until the account is settled.
4. Renewal & Cancellation
Unless expressly cancelled in writing, all agreements will automatically renew for the next available edition.
Written notice of cancellation, on official company letterhead, must be provided at least one (1) month prior to the publication date of the next edition to avoid renewal.
All other renewal and termination conditions remain subject to the specific provisions of the SLA.
A 75% cancellation fee of the total amount will apply to all cancellations. All cancellation fees are paid upfront and immediately.
5. Liability & Indemnity
SADC Government Online accepts no liability for any loss, damage, cost, or claim, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, arising from the publication of content provided by the advertiser.
Advertisers remain solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, originality, and legality of all content supplied.
SADC Government Online reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any material it deems misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with editorial standards.
SADC Government Online makes no guarantees regarding the generation of sales or business outcomes but will provide performance statistics where available.
6. Digital & Cross-Platform Publishing
Where applicable, advertisements may be published across Government Online’s digital channels, including but not limited to www.sadcgov.com, emailers, social media, and online campaigns, in order to maximise exposure.
Digital listings will remain live for the duration agreed upon in the Quotation/SLA.
Exclusivity is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing prior to publication.
7. Force Majeure
SADC Government Online shall not be held liable for any delay, non-performance, or failure to publish arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, internet failures, strikes, or supplier/printing disruptions.
