Our highly experienced team has led the industry in manufacturing high quality Gate, Butterfly, Tilting Disc, Damper, Non-Return, Ball, Mining Cock and diaphragm control valves for the most demanding industries and applications. AVK Southern Africa offers an extensive range of valves and hydrants for water including distribution and wastewater supply and Industrial industries including oil, gas and petrochemical, mining, power generation and steel. Based on LEAN principles, we have streamlined our work processes and the flow of goods to ensure the fastest possible lead time. We store a large selection of AVK's product range in our logistics and distribution centre, and our warehouse management system enables us to optimise our inventory and handling. Altogether, this allows us to offer great delivery service on a 46 000 sqm site including a corporate office, four state of the art factories and a training institution.

Local and international product brands AVK's product brand portfolio comprises both local and international brands. Since the establishment of AVK Southern Africa, AVK offers Premier, Gunric, Baker Control, Cementation Engineering (CEM) and IPV (Industrial Petroleum Valves) as part of their local product range that complies to local content designation. International brands including Wouter Witzel, Orbinox, InterApp, ACMO, and Glenfield.

The Academy AVK Holding established The Academy in September 2016. The Academy is an in-house training facility with a 40-seater seating capacity. The institute showcases an impressive flow lab that demonstrates the flow of water through a series of valves allowing attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of water-related processes. Since its establishment, two courses have been launched; The Valves Fundamentals Course, which provides a sound introduction to acquiring essential knowledge of valves, in theory, and practice, and The Advanced Valves Course which provides greater insight into principles and practices that address the theories of fluid pressure, fluid flow, and field applications. Following on the success achieved with the Valve Fundamentals Course (2016) and the Advanced Valves Principles and Practice Course (2017). The Academy took cognisance of the requests from trainees to expand the training to include subjects that lead to valve failures and other valve-related issues developing and introducing a third course,'Technical Process Course for Valves'.
