The Hank Guest House

Located in the beautiful Eastern Free-State town of Bethlehem, The Hank Guesthouse had its origin due to a dream of the owner, who had a vision to create spacious, luxurious and comfortable accommodation for guests visiting the town, as well as parents with children in hostels. The name of the guest house originated from Henk, the owners father and former owner who lived in the house for 36 years. With American friends, his name became Hank, which to us was the perfect name to honour him and keep his legacy alive. The Elephant painting in the reception area is also named Hank and means Friendly and Gracious soul. This exotic oil painting was painted by the well-known artist John Murray and creates an impressive yet welcoming atmosphere. Vision: To be the most hospitable, preferred and affordable Guest house/Conference facility and Coffee Shop in the Eastern Free State. The Hank is not just a Guesthouse, it's a way of life!
