Road markings and pavement work are set to begin on Tuesday, though the completion date has not been specified. Drivers are urged to be patient and anticipate potential delays. Road Upgrades Ahead of SADC Summit Zimbabwe is enhancing its road network in preparation for the 44th SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government, scheduled to be held in Harare in August 2024. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development is overseeing the rehabilitation of at least 40 roads in and around the city. This includes routes connecting the new parliament building to Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport and Mount Hampden, with additional improvements in street lighting and landscaping.
