Moorosi Tsiane, a resident of Berea, has filed a petition with the High Court, seeking an order for the return of M1.2 million. He claims the money was confiscated by subordinates of Police Commissioner Borotho Matsoso and army chief, Lieutenant General Mojalefa Letsoela, during an incident in Leribe, Ha Kanetsi, in July. Tsiane argues that the seizure was unlawful and is demanding the funds be returned. The case now awaits a decision from the court.
